THE THEATRE COMPANY AWARDS
Saturday, September 6, 2008, 7pm

The Ozark Arts Council, along with the Theatre Company, is pleased to announce the date for the 2008 Theatre Award Show.  Each year, a committee of 7-13 members of the Harrison community actively attends O.A.C. productions put on by NorthArk Drama and the Theatre Company.  Their nominations for outstanding performances are submitted to central person and the awards are presented during this event. 

The categories for awards are for Outstanding Performances for:

•   Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role – Children’s Literature
•   Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role – Comedy
•   Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role – Drama
•   Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role – Musical
•   Newcomer – Male and Female
•   Child Actor and Actress
•   Young Actor and Actress
•   Vocal Excellence – Male and Female
•   Character Actor and Actress – Comedy and Children’s Literature
•   Character Actor and Actress – Drama and Musical
•   Actor and Actress in a leading role – Children’s Literature
•   Actor and Actress in a leading role– Comedy
•   Actor and Actress in a leading role– Drama
•   Actor and Actress in a leading role– Musical

This event is free to the public.   Ann Lemley and Clark Middleton are returning as the Master & Mistress of Ceremonies, so you can expect a great evening of good music from well known musicals performed from our own pool of  local talent.   There will be a portion of the evening set aside for some special awards as well for recognition of the wonderful volunteers who devote time and energy to support of the Arts and the O.A.C. during the year.  Please mark your calendars to join us at this entertaining event.
