The Ozark Arts Council’s mission is to enrich lives by promoting the arts. Film and digital video is a unique art form. In conjunction with the Spark International Film Festival and in the spirit of promoting film as an art form, the Ozark Arts Council encouraged the community to participate in the making of a film…the Harrison Film Project. The Ozark Arts Council set up a movie camera on June 20th and allowed members of the community several minutes in front of the camera to perform. Art is a form of communication that crosses social, economic, and cultural barriers. The Harrison Film Project was created to encourage this positive communication through filmmaking.
