The Ozark Arts Council is pleased to announce the beginning of an exciting new program...The Ozark Children’s Choir. The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for children in our community to attain formal choral training and performance experience while developing an appreciation for music. The program is designed to help children find their voice. The program will build character, teach self-discipline, respect for others, and instill good work ethic.

Children will gain confidence, poise, and a real sense of accomplishment while learning the foundations of singing, reading music and music theory.

The program is available for children in grades 2-6.

Nine-month program runs September 2008-May 2009. Informational meeting will be held August 26, 6pm. Simple auditions will be held September 8, 4-6pm, at The Lyric Theater. Weekly rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 15, and will be held Mondays from 4:30-6:30pm.

Tuition: $270 (payable in 5 monthly installments). Full and partial scholarships available. To apply, submit the application to the O.A.C. Download info & registration form.
