Step back in time and watch films on the big screen at the historic Lyric Theater. The Classic Movie Series pays homage to the fact that the Lyric Theatre was built in 1929 as a place to show "talkies". Films are chosen by Ken Tate, an avid old movie buff, and are only shown if they were released in the years that the Lyric was a movie theater, 1929 to 1977.
All classic movies are free to the public, and held on Sundays at 2pm.
